Photographer - Artist - Teacher

Event photography, travel photography, and photographic art are not only my profession but have been my love and passion for more than 50 years.. As this page evolves, I will share not only my work but my philosophy toward this flexible art form.

I will notify friends and followers with updates as each of the above links becomes active. I look forward to your feedback.

Thank you - Jim Palik

Event Photography

Natural light event photography tells the event's story while retaining spontaneity. Working without flash preserves the event's natural look and keeps the photographer unobtrusive while capturing people and activities in natural light. Using background effectively produces an artistic professional result. The successfully photographed event tells the event's story in both candid photographs and group poses. Flash is used less than 10% of the time.

Weddings, Christenings, Openings, Exhibits, Conventions, Concerts, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Picnics, Reunions, Receptions, and Dinners all represent events that are captured best in natural light. Contact me when planning your next event.
