The German American Club 1948 - Stuttgart Ghost Walk

The German American Club 1948 Stuttgart was founded in 1948 with the assistance of US military authorities and the city of Stuttgart. The purpose of the club is to promote and maintain international understanding, tolerance, good relations and friendship between Germany and the United States.

Members are Americans and Germans who want to have contact with each other and learn about the culture, history, language, customs, the people and the way of life of both nations. The club language is primarily English.

The club is open to Americans and Germans who believe in the goal of the club. Those interested are invited to attend a few of the meetings to find out what the club has to offer before joining. Usually the club meets on a Saturday once a month at different places in the Stuttgart area. The events are always connected with a dinner at a nearby restaurant.
